Incorporated in 1983, GS Hitech Controls Inc. has been supplying applications oriented instrumentation products to major petroleum, petrochemical, municipal/utility, pulp and paper, and food processing companies since its inception.
Over the past forty years, company growth has been strong, yet stable. Initially started as a one person operation, GS Hitech now employs more than twenty people, with office and warehousing facilities in both Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.
GS Hitech Controls’ reputation for ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction has been key to its continued success. Our list of satisfied customers includes every major user of Process Instrumentation and Control Equipment in Western Canada.
Our team of Certified and Formally Educated Technical Sales Representatives handle the field sales of GS Hitech products. These personnel are backed by our group of Technical Inside Sales Representatives and Engineering Staff that provides a well ratioed support team. All sales staff are trained in professional sales techniques, which are geared towards identifying and satisfying customer needs. Furthermore, all staff are trained and upgraded, on a regular basis, on product applications, features, and benefits, both internally and at the factory level.
GS Hitech service personnel are professionally factory trained to provide warranty and repair service on all products sold. These products are warranted not only by the manufacturers represented, but also locally by the company. Many products and parts are stocked in Calgary and Edmonton.
The management of GS Hitech Controls is intimately involved in the day-to-day sales and marketing aspects of the company’s operations. This assists in maintaining the best possible flexibility necessary to ensure that short term decisions positively impact on the company’s long term success.
At GS Hitech, we pride ourselves on being a part of the community we serve. Over the years we’ve contributed through donations and volunteer hours to organizations such as Alberta Kids Cancer Care, Canadian Red Cross, United Way, Calgary and Edmonton Food Bank, Mustard Seed, Inn from the Cold, Alberta Cancer Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, The Arthritis Society and many more worthy causes.
We also believe in building the future generations and what better way to learn life lessons than through sports. Kidsport is about providing opportunities to young athletes and allowing them to participate in sports activities that they may not be able to partake in without their help.
GS Hitech has also provided sponsorship to the ASTARZ volleyball club. This female volleyball club was founded in 2022 and works on developing their athletes while focusing on four strong core values. These include Empowerment, Resiliency, Continuous Improvement and of course Enjoyment.
